My Dad at the Zoo by Coralie Saudo; illustrated by Kris Digiacomo. 2016. Charcoal lines and mix mediums(could not find a translation that was more specific)
Brief Summary: On Sunday, the son goes to the zoo with his father in one humorous role reversal situation after another.
Comment: French translation. Same author as My Dad is Big and Strong, But… The art work and words go perfectly together. My students thought the father and son role reversal was great in My Dad is Big and Strong, But..., so I can’t wait to share this book with them. I would use this in a point of views of characters ELA lesson for my second graders. The translations in these stories do not get lost.
