I Hear a Pickle(and Smell, See, Touch, and Taste It, Too!) by Rachel Isadora

I Hear a Pickle(and Smell, See, Touch, and Taste It, Too!) by Rachel Isadora; illustrated by Rachel  Isadora. Ink and watercolor.

Brief Summary: The book is divided by the five sense with them written on the upper right hand of each two page spread. There are children appropriate examples with each illustration, usually two on a page. “I hear the bee.” I don’t hear the worm.”

Comments: Students will understand each sense with these clear and at times, funny illustrated examples of the senses. I plan to use this with the senses unit of study with our kindergartners.  This is not a narrative nonfiction book.
