Brief summary: Bat needs a new house and goes to various forest animals asking if they could share theirs with him. He comes across a home with a sleeping squirrel and decides to hang from a twig to sleep. Squirrel wakes up to see the uninvited guest and tells him to go before he gets back from gathering food. Unsure if Bat is listening, Squirrel leaves a note which is the first of many they write to each other all misunderstood by Bat. The two new roommates keep missing each other due to their sleep patterns until one day they get to now each other during a tic-tac-toe game.

Comments: This is a sweet and funny story of two roommates who become friends despite their different sleeping patterns and misunderstandings.
