Life on Mars by Jon Agee

Life on Mars

Life on Mars by Jon Agee; illustrated by Jon Agee. 2017. Dial Books for Young Readers.

Brief summary: A young boy astronaut lands on Mars and brings a box of cupcakes to give to any life forms he discovers. He walks around believing he is alone but realizes his misconception when he returns to his rocket.

Comment: Humorous story.  Students will like to see if the boy  ever realizes there is more life on Mars than a yellow flower or not.
